The Role:

We are seeking a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) who is not just a skilled technologist, but also a product visionary. As the CEO, I come from a non-technical background, so I am searching for a trusted partner to take charge of the technical aspects and help shape the future of our platform. You will play a critical role in defining both the technology roadmap and product strategy as we scale. Ideally, you have experience in startup environments (especially if you’ve founded or co-founded a startup) and are passionate about developing innovative products that meet market needs.

Responsibilities:

Minimum of 10 years of experience in tech and building products.
Lead the technical vision and ensure it aligns with the overall product vision and business goals.
Collaborate closely with the CEO to define the product strategy and prioritize the development roadmap.
Build and manage a technical team, hiring engineers and other tech talent as needed.
Oversee the architecture, development, and deployment of our platform, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
Take ownership of the end-to-end product lifecycle, from concept to execution, ensuring the platform evolves to meet user needs.
Evaluate and implement new technologies and innovations to maintain a competitive advantage.
Lead the effort to ensure compliance and security standards are met.
Foster a culture of creativity, innovation, and ownership within the technical team.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a CTO or similar technical leadership role, preferably in a startup environment. Experience as a founder or co-founder is a strong plus.
Strong expertise in product management and the ability to shape a product from idea to launch.
Deep knowledge of full-stack development and experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, etc.).
Experience building scalable systems and infrastructure.
Proficiency in modern programming languages such as PHP Symfony, MySQL/MariaDB, Firebase and Elasticsearch for effective data management to our platform’s needs.
A hands-on approach to development and problem-solving.
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work closely with a non-technical CEO and guide the technical direction of the company.
A visionary mindset and passion for product development, with a strong desire to create something innovative.
Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.
Interest in influencer marketing or social media is a plus.
