About the Role
Chief Technology Officer (CTO) – DeFi Infrastructure (Remote, EU/Asia Preferred)
A venture-backed DeFi startup is building infrastructure for tokenized credit default swaps, enabling structured products for funds, market makers, and DAOs
The team seeks a CTO to lead and execute the protocol's technical strategy, focusing on protocol architecture, engineering leadership, and product development.
Responsibilities:
- Lead protocol design and smart contract development (Solidity, EVM)
- Manage and grow a globally distributed engineering team (EU/Asia time zones)
- Own the technical roadmap, security practices, and integration strategy
- Collaborate with researchers on risk and credit market innovation
Requirements:
- 5+ years in software engineering, 3+ in DeFi/blockchain
- Expert in Solidity, smart contract security, and dApp/web development
- Built and scaled DeFi protocols with >$10M TVL
- Proven engineering leadership; team-building experience`

Compensation: Strong base compensation with a competitive equity and token warrant
