About the Role
BOC History
BOC Bank is a family-owned technology bank based in Amarillo, Texas. Our vision emerged from frustration with the traditional branch banking model, which includes a branch on every corner, hidden fees, complicated and expensive products, long hold times, and non-competitive rates on loans and deposits. At BOC Bank, we strive for a better, simpler product through technology, which we can grow and augment in a positive direction. BOC Bank is one of only three banks in the US to develop its own core operating system, and we are close to launching version 2.

In addition, the CTO is responsible for driving the execution of our technology roadmap, ensuring the successful development, deployment, and maintenance of our applications and systems. This role is part of the executive leadership team and is expected to understand and contribute to the broader success of the bank.
