The AIM Platform is commercially deployed across mining and construction and is entering a critical scale phase. We aren't building a smarter machine; we are building the operating system that automates the reshaping of our planet.
The Role: Autonomy & Ecosystem Automation
As CTO, you architect the autonomous future with a maximum degree of autonomy. Your mandate is landing technical solutions in complex global ecosystems, ensuring autonomous fleets deliver peak safety and productivity. Your contributions drive company scale and culture.
Key Responsibilities
1. Landing Deep Tech
- Integration & Deployment: Own the technical lifecycle of rugged hardware+software+AI Platform. Manage the data flywheel and safe product rollouts.
- Physical AI Awareness: You understand this is not just SaaS. Distribution shift is the norm, ground truth is whether the machine finished the shift. You fund simulation, field tests, and data infrastructure like products.
2. Automating the Ecosystem
- Unified Intelligence: Drive the global scaling of the AIM Platform. Build customer-centric architectures that integrate machines into autonomous ecosystems. Lead multi-agent coordination and site-level intelligence across the earthmoving value chain.
3. Hypergrowth Leadership
- Org & Roadmap: Lead a multidisciplinary elite engineering team breaking new ground. Balance immediate customer needs with a long-term roadmap for planetary-scale terraforming while maintaining a high-bar, safe culture.

- Deep Tech & Growth Expert: Proven track record landing hardware-integrated products in production. You thrive in building resilient systems under market demand pressure, and distinguishing SaaS playbooks from physical realities.
- Autonomous Visionary: You possess a founder mindset—defining the path and executing with precision. You understand how AIM OS is automating the building of the physical fabric of our civilization.
Requirements
- Leadership: 8+ years experience (CTO/Head of Eng) in Autonomous Vehicles or Deep Tech, with a record of building orgs that ship learned systems in unstructured environments.
- Technical Fluency: Expert in AI/ML stacks, robotics software, and hardware-in-the-loop testing. Proven success scaling teams during hypergrowth. Based in or relocating to the Greater Seattle Area.
