Chief Technology Officer – BettingJobs
BettingJobs is partnering with a new brand entering the US sweepstakes market to hire a visionary Chief Technology Officer. This pivotal, remote role (or Dubai-based if preferred) will lead the transition from third-party systems to a fully owned, internally managed tech stack—driving growth, innovation, and competitive advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Internalize Technology:
Architect and execute a roadmap to migrate operations from third-party platforms to an in-house, proprietary tech stack. Build, lead, and scale an engineering team to realize this vision. - AI & Automation:
Champion the adoption of AI software, automation frameworks, and data-driven tools to optimize user experience, payments, risk, and marketing tech operations. - Product Ownership:
Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of the digital platform, ensuring scalability, security, and compliance across multiple jurisdictions. - Tech Leadership:
Set technical direction, infrastructure choices, and best practices for a resilient, high-performing environment. - Cross-functional Collaboration:
Partner with marketing, operations, and risk teams to align technology with commercial goals. - Governance & Compliance:
Ensure adherence to data privacy, security protocols, and gaming compliance requirements.
Essential Requirements
- 8+ years in senior technology leadership roles (CTO or Head of Engineering level)
- Proven experience migrating from third-party systems to owned platforms
- Demonstrable expertise with AI tools, machine learning models, or advanced analytics
- Prior exposure to gaming, iGaming, or high-volume transactional platforms (highly desirable)
- Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure, scalable system design, and modern DevOps
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate tech decisions into business outcomes
