About the Role
Job Description
The International Chief Technology Officer will lead the International IT function and will serve as the enterprise’s primary strategist for converting technology investments (financial, operational, cultural, and temporal) into meaningful business returns. This role requires deep, ongoing collaboration with global business leaders, operational teams, and client‑facing groups to understand needs, pressures, and opportunities from every angle. The ICTO will bring together insights from stakeholders, clients, and impacted business operations to evaluate initial and ongoing investments, opportunity costs, and readiness for emerging business opportunities to inform technology strategy.
Beyond compliance and architectural standards (which can be delegated) the ICTO provides judgment on the complex, value generated by technology: enabling horizontal platforms and culture, strengthening business quality and efficiency, supporting growth and retention, and optimizing the cost and scalability of technology and teams. This leader brings the ability to consistently weigh and align these diverse forms of value, ensuring that international technology decisions contribute to sustainable enterprise impact and measurable progress toward Crawford’s strategic goals.
