Candidate Profile
- Proven Leader: 12+ years in technology leadership roles, with at least
- Min 5 years as a CTO, Head of Engineering, or equivalent position.
- Digital Asset & Fintech Expertise: Demonstrated experience in global fintech platforms, leading financial institutions, or digital asset exchanges. Prior experience at top-tier digital asset exchanges is highly preferred.
- Blockchain Proficiency: Comprehensive understanding of blockchain protocols, digital asset trading infrastructure, custody solutions, and decentralized finance (DeFi) ecosystems.
- Technical Excellence: Strong knowledge or hands-on experience with high-frequency trading systems, distributed systems architecture, cybersecurity best practices, and cloud-native infrastructure.
- Global Perspective: Demonstrated track record leading multi-regional, multicultural technology teams in high-growth environments.
- Entrepreneurship & Problem Solving: Strong sense of ownership, demonstrated innovation mindset, and ability to lead teams in solving complex technical challenges.
- Languages: Fluency in English is essential. Proficiency in additional languages is advantageous.

Role Overview
We are seeking an innovation-driven Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead our global technology vision and execution. The ideal candidate will be a digital asset-native leader with deep fintech or financial services experience, capable of scaling world-class trading systems while pioneering the next generation of blockchain-driven financial infrastructure.
This role goes beyond maintaining existing systems—it is about shaping the future of digital asset trading, custody, and payments through groundbreaking technology and strategic innovation.
Key Responsibilities
Vision & Strategy
- Define and drive the organization's technology vision and multi-year roadmap, aligning with business objectives and global regulatory requirements.
- Lead the platform into the next generation of exchange infrastructure, leveraging blockchain, decentralized finance, and emerging technologies (such as artificial intelligence, Layer-2 scaling solutions, and advanced cryptography).
- Anticipate industry trends and position the organization at the forefront of digital asset innovation.
Innovation & Product Development
- Oversee the design and delivery of ultra-low-latency trading platforms, sophisticated derivatives products, and blockchain-enabled financial services.
- Incubate and launch new technologies across trading, payments, and digital asset custody domains.
- Foster a culture of research and development excellence, ensuring the organization continuously advances the boundaries of digital asset product innovation.
Infrastructure & Security
- Architect scalable, resilient, and high-performance systems capable of handling billions in daily transaction volume.
- Ensure institutional-grade security and risk management, safeguarding user assets and data against evolving threats.
- Lead ongoing investments in redundancy, disaster recovery, and global infrastructure expansion.
Leadership & Team Building
- Build, lead, and inspire a global, high-performing engineering and technology organization.
- Champion a culture of innovation, speed, and accountability.
- Develop leadership pipelines and ensure continuous professional growth within the technical organization.
Governance & Stakeholder Management
- Ensure all technology operations comply with international regulatory, anti-money laundering, and data privacy standards.
- Serve as a strategic partner to executive leadership and the Board, translating complex technical strategies into measurable business impact.
- Represent the organization externally at industry events, partnerships, and key strategic discussions.
