We are seeking a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to join our founding leadership team and establish the organization's entire technology infrastructure from the ground up. This is a hands-on, 0→1 leadership position for someone capable of designing world-class fintech systems, scaling engineering teams, and ensuring that technology aligns with business, regulatory, and growth objectives.

 

You will be responsible for the technology vision, architecture, security, scalability, and execution while collaborating closely with the founders to define the long-term platform and product roadmap.

 

This position is located in GIFT City, Ahmedabad — India’s rapidly expanding international financial center. We are developing solutions for the global market from India’s most promising global fintech hub.

Responsibilities:

▪ Define and own technology vision, architecture, and long-term technical strategy.

▪ Be hands-on in the early stage, actively coding and building core systems.

▪ Build, manage, and scale the engineering team to deliver the product end-to-end.

▪ Architect and deliver secure, scalable, low-latency backend systems and APIs.

▪ Own cloud infrastructure, DevOps, CI/CD, monitoring, and system reliability.

▪ Ensure strong security, data protection, and compliance-ready foundations.

▪ Lead integrations with brokers, custodians, payment rails, KYC/AML, and data partners.

▪ Establish engineering standards for code quality, testing, documentation, and delivery.

▪ Work closely with founders, product, and business teams to translate strategy into execution.

▪ Represent technology in leadership, investor, and partner discussions.

Requirements:

▪ BE/BTech/MTech in Computer Science or related field (IIT/NITs or equivalent preferred).

▪ 7–12 years of experience in backend/platform engineering with strong architectural and

leadership ownership.

▪ Prior experience as a CTO, Head of Engineering, or Tech Lead at a high-growth startup or fintech.

▪ Deep expertise in modern backend languages and stacks (Go, Node.js, Python, Java, etc.).

▪ Strong experience with cloud-native architectures, distributed systems, and high-scale

platforms.

▪ Proven ability to build and scale engineering teams from early stage to growth.

▪ Strong understanding of fintech systems, security, compliance, and regulated environments.

▪ Hands-on mindset with the ability to dive deep into code and architecture when needed.

▪ Strategic thinker with strong communication and leadership skills.

▪ Passion for building global fintech products from India for the world.
