About the Role
Summary
The CTO will serve as the primary technical leader responsible for managing and optimizing the organization’s ZOHO One ecosystem. This role demands a blend of technical proficiency in ZOHO systems and strategic leadership to align technological capabilities with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Platform Leadership & Strategy
Architect and execute the strategic vision for ZOHO CRM and the broader ZOHO One platform to drive business efficiency and growth.
Lead the evaluation and adoption of new ZOHO features and tools to keep the organization at the forefront of technology.
Development & Integration
Develop custom ZOHO solutions using Deluge scripting, JavaScript, and APIs to ensure seamless workflows.
Manage integrations between ZOHO and third-party systems like ERP tools, e-commerce platforms, or accounting software.
Team Collaboration & Leadership
Partner with department heads to understand and translate business needs into technical solutions.
Lead and mentor IT and operations teams to maximize productivity and system usage.
Operational Oversight
Optimize workflows within ZOHO CRM to streamline sales, marketing, and inventory processes.
Ensure data security and compliance within ZOHO and across integrated platforms.
Technical Support & Troubleshooting
Act as the go-to technical expert for troubleshooting and resolving ZOHO-related issues.
Oversee system maintenance, updates, and performance monitoring.
Qualifications
Industry Experience:
8+ years of experience in technology leadership roles within industries like technology startups, enterprise SaaS, or logistics/operations companies.
Strong familiarity with the New York business landscape and its fast-paced environment.
Technical Expertise:
Deep understanding of ZOHO CRM, Creator, Analytics, and Inventory.
Skilled in backend development, scripting (Deluge, JavaScript), and API management.
Leadership & Collaboration:
Experience leading cross-functional teams to deliver technology solutions aligned with organizational goals.
Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Problem Solving:
A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset to diagnose and resolve system inefficiencies.
Availability:
Ready to start within a short timeframe and commit to a 60-hour workweek.
