Job Title: Interim Chief Technology Officer - Possibility to extend or go perm 

Location: [Must be in the Germany - ideally frankfurt]

As the Chief Technology Officer (CTO), you will be responsible for overseeing the entire technology strategy and execution for cloud-based projects, ensuring alignment with the company’s broader business objectives and customer needs. You will lead cross-functional teams in the planning, execution, and delivery of cloud technologies, driving innovation, and optimizing operational performance.

Lead the overall technology vision and strategy for cloud initiatives, from initial concept through to deployment and ongoing support.
Oversee the development and execution of detailed project plans that define scope, timeline, resources, and budget, ensuring successful delivery and alignment with business goals.
Lead collaboration efforts with key stakeholders, including engineering, sales, and operations teams, to gather requirements and set clear, actionable project goals.
Manage high-level risk assessments, ensuring the mitigation of potential technology or operational risks that could impact project success.
Facilitate communication between technical teams and executive leadership, ensuring transparency and alignment on progress, challenges, and opportunities.
Oversee adherence to cloud architecture and security best practices, ensuring compliance with industry standards and data protection requirements.
Drive continuous technological improvements through lessons learned, post-project evaluations, and the integration of new, emerging technologies.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
Extensive experience in a leadership role, particularly in cloud technology (AWS, Azure, GCP), including managing large-scale cloud implementations and transformations.
Strong background in Agile methodologies, and the ability to lead teams in an Agile environment (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
Excellent leadership skills with proven experience managing cross-functional teams and communicating effectively at all organizational levels.
