Chief Technology Officer - Robotics

RoBuildX, a groundbreaking startup revolutionizing the $300B homebuilding industry, is looking for a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) with 8-10 years of professional experience. This is a unique opportunity to join a company at the forefront of innovation, combining robotics and residential construction to address the critical housing deficit for middle and low-income households.

As a founding team member, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping our technology, developing our Minimum Viable Product (MVP), and driving the automation of homebuilding, akin to the assembly line production of automobiles. We are seeking a candidate ready to start part-time and transition into a full-time commitment as the company grows.

Lead the design and implementation of robotic systems for home construction, integrating robotics with architecture, structural engineering, and supply chain processes.
Utilize expertise in robotic design, manipulation, end-of-arm tools, precision engineering, and AI-driven automation to revolutionize the homebuilding process.

Oversee the entire product development lifecycle, from ideation to commercialization.
Manage all project aspects, including cost estimation, scheduling, and supply chain logistics, ensuring efficient and precise assembly at construction sites.

Develop and execute a technology roadmap aligned with the company's vision.
Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies, fostering innovation and maintaining a competitive edge.

Contribute to scaling the company, including technology implementation, growth strategies, and geographic expansion.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or related fields (Master’s or Ph.D. preferred).
At least 8 years of experience in the robotics space or industrial automation, with a proven track record of success in technology development.
Expertise in software and hardware development, robotics systems, and mechatronics.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for innovation and scaling startups.
Preferred: Experience in construction methods, modular construction, and intellectual property management.
