We are currently building our founding technical team and are seeking a Chief Technology Officer / Lead Architect to help define and lead the entire technical vision of the company.
Role Overview
As CTO / Lead Architect, you will take ownership of the technical architecture, development strategy, and engineering leadership as we move from early development toward a scalable product.
This is a founding role with significant influence on the direction of the company.
Responsibilities
- Design and oversee the platform’s system architecture
- Lead the development of a scalable SaaS infrastructure
- Define backend, frontend, and AI system integration strategies
- Work closely with the founder to shape the product vision
- Establish coding standards and engineering best practices
- Oversee DevOps, security, and performance optimization
- Guide and mentor the development team
- Prepare the technical roadmap for scaling and future funding rounds
Requirements
- 8+ years experience in software engineering or system architecture
- Experience building scalable SaaS platforms
- Strong backend architecture experience
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Experience with microservices or scalable modular architectures
- Understanding of DevOps, CI/CD, and containerization
- Leadership experience managing developers
Preferred Skills
- Experience working in startups or founding teams
- Familiarity with AI or data-driven platforms
- Experience preparing systems for venture-scale growth
