Chief Technology Officer (VP of engineering)

We have been retained to identify a VP of Engineering (CTO) to lead the development of a first-of-its-kind autonomous medical robotics system.

This role is about more than just leadership, it’s about solving that which hasn’t been solved before. 

You’ll be leading an engineering team on a mission to automate the most commonly performed invasive procedure, one that takes place over 3 billion times in the US and Western Europe alone.

You will be the bridge between the engineering team and the rest of the company, the leadership and the board. 

Driving development and continuous improvement, through inspirational leadership and deep technical understanding. 

You'll need to have; 

✅ Experience leading 40+ engineers (indirectly).

✅ Systems-level understanding of robotics development.

✅ Medical/Surgical Robotics background.

✅ Comfortable in fast-moving, 30–200 employee companies, not purely corporate environments.

✅ A customer-facing mindset, can collaborate externally as well as lead internally.

✅ High resilience, problem-solving ability, and a drive to win.
