Co-Founder & CTO | SemantiSys (AI/AR for Aerospace MRO)

Location: Norway / Remote Equity: Co-founder Level (Discussed) Compensation: Equity-only until Seed (Expected Q3 2026)

The Mission Aerospace engine maintenance (MRO) is plagued by information bottlenecks. SemantiSys is an AI-powered AR platform providing technicians with real-time, context-aware guidance. We validate complex procedures to reduce errors and downtime in a high-stakes industry. We are pre-revenue with active pilot programs.

The Reality This is a Co-Founder role, not a "job." You must be able to support yourself financially for up to 12 months before salary begins. We need a technical leader who builds, ships, and scales—not a researcher.

Key Responsibilities

Architect & Build: Design a scalable, enterprise-grade SaaS platform (Python/Cloud).

AI/ML Production: Integrate LLMs, multi-modal agents, and computer vision into shipping software (not just notebooks).

Product Shipping: Lead core development and AR interfaces on aggressive timelines.

Scale: Hire and mentor the engineering team as we move from pilot to enterprise.

What You Bring

Strong Python Portfolio: You have a demonstrable history of production-grade Python code (GitHub/Portfolio required).

Shipping Experience: 5+ years building and deploying scalable SaaS products. You understand CI/CD, DevOps, and multi-tenant architecture.

Practical AI/ML: You’ve moved AI from research to production. You understand model deployment and optimization.

Startup Mindset: You value shipping over perfection. You are comfortable with uncertainty and wearing multiple hats.

Nice to Have

AR/XR development (Unity, OpenXR).

Graph databases (Neo4j).

Aviation/MRO domain knowledge.

Compliance experience (SOC2, EU AI Act).
