The Opportunity
Co-Founder (CTO / Head of Engineering) – Klemweb
Location: Remote / Nigeria (Hybrid optional)
Type: Co-Founder Role (Equity-Based)
Commitment: Full-Time (Initial build phase + long-term growth)
We are looking for a CTO / Head of Engineering (Co-founder) to lead the technical vision and execution of this new product.
This is a founding-level role—you will not just be building features, but owning the architecture, shaping the product direction, and influencing key business decisions.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end technical strategy and execution
- Design and implement a scalable, production-ready architecture
- Make critical decisions across backend, frontend, and infrastructure
- Establish engineering standards, processes, and best practices
- Collaborate with product and business stakeholders on execution
- Build and guide the engineering team over time
- Ensure performance, security, and system reliability
Technical Expectations
- Strong experience in full-stack software development
- Proven ability to build and scale production-grade systems
- Experience with:
- Backend technologies (Java, PHP/Laravel, Python, etc.)
- Frontend frameworks (React, Vue, etc.)
- Databases (SQL & NoSQL)
- API design and system architecture
- Familiarity with:
- Cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- CI/CD and DevOps practices
- Security best practices

- Has experience working on early-stage or scaling products
- Thinks like an owner and builder
- Strong execution mindset with attention to detail
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and fast-paced environments
- Interested in long-term value creation over short-term compensation
Compensation Structure
This is a co-founder role, and compensation is structured as:
- Equity-Based
- Equity will be issued within a Klemweb-owned product entity
- Standard vesting applies
