On-site collaboration with embedded software, electronics, mechanical design and prototyping team.

At Pek Automotive in Slovenia, we design and build advanced autonomous electric systems and robotic vehicles used in demanding real-world environments such as agriculture and rescue operations. We are expanding our Research and Development Department and are looking for a Deputy Chief Technology Officer with a strong multidisciplinary engineering background to lead and coordinate development across all technical teams.

What you will work on:

Lead and coordinate R&D teams across mechanical design, electronics development, embedded software/firmware and prototyping,
Oversee full product development lifecycle – from concept to deployment,
Help define architecture and system-level design of autonomous machines,
Supervise development progress and report directly to the CTO,
Provide technical guidance and support across all engineering departments.

What we are looking for:

Strong engineering background in embedded systems, robotics, mechatronics, or similar fields,
Experience across several of the following domains: Mechanical design, Electronics / hardware development, Embedded firmware development, Computer vision or algorithm development,
Strong project management and leadership skills,
Background in electric vehicle or automotive technology is a plus.
