A venture-backed Web3 startup is building an Intellectual Property Operating System for programmable loyalty & tokenised brand ecosystems.
The mission: enable global sports clubs, entertainment brands, and major IP holders to launch on-chain fan economies - without gambling mechanics - combining predictions, quests, rewards, drops, ticketing, and tokenised access into a single, scalable infra layer.
The founding team is already in commercial discussions with major (Tier-1) sports organisations and global entertainment brands. Funding is expected in the a matter of weeks, not months. What’s missing is a technical co-founder who can turn ambition into architecture - and architecture into a live, secure, revenue-generating system.
This is a true founding CTO role.

The Opportunity:
You will architect and build a hybrid Web2/Web3 infrastructure capable of supporting:
• Brand tokens with real on-chain settlement
• A hybrid AMM & orderbook exchange layer
• Liquidity routing and market-making infra.
• Tokenized rewards, staking, drops, auctions & loyalty mechanics
• White-label mobile and web platforms for millions of users, many of which will not be crypto-native
This is not a speculative DeFi project. It is a consumer-scale loyalty protocol that must satisfy:
1. Tier-1 global brands (risk-sensitive, compliance-aware)
2. Crypto-native liquidity and settlement logic
3. Mainstream fans with zero Web3 literacy
You will unify those worlds into one coherent system.

What You’ll Own:
Protocol & Exchange Architecture
• Design and deploy hybrid AMM / orderbook infrastructure
• Liquidity pools, routing, staking and rewards mechanics
• Token standards and governance primitives
Smart Contracts
• Production Solidity contracts (auditable, secure, upgrade-aware)
• Liquidity mining, staking, tokenomics
• Audit coordination and security-first design
Wallet & Custody Abstraction
• Smart accounts or MPC wallet infrastructure
• Fiat on/off-ramps
• UX abstraction for non-crypto users
Platform & Consumer Layer
• Engagement engine (predictions, quests, missions)
• Rewards systems (drops, auctions, exclusive access)
• Commerce integrations (ticketing, merchandise, points redemption)
• White-label mobile (React Native or Flutter) & web
Technical Leadership
• Define core architecture from first principles
• Make “build vs buy” decisions
• Hire and lead the engineering team
• Represent technical credibility in investor and partner diligence

What Success Looks Like:
First 90 Days
• Translate vision into a clear, opinionated architecture
• Deliver prototype components demonstrating execution capability
• Establish security and economic primitives early
• Instil technical confidence in partners & investors alike
First 12 Months
• Launch at least one flagship IP partner live
• Deliver stable on-chain settlement infrastructure
• Ship Web2-smooth UX at scale
• Build a small, high-performance team of engineers
Long term, you evolve from founder-builder into system owner as the company scales post-Series A.

Technical stack includes:
• Solidity (advanced), Foundry/Hardhat
• TypeScript/JavaScript
• Rust / Go
• Python
• GCP, Docker/Kubernetes
• PostgreSQL, Redis, event streaming
• Mobile frameworks (React Native or Flutter)
Experience bridging protocol infrastructure to consumer applications is highly valuable.

Compensation
• Founding equity (can be 10%+ for the right candidate)
• Role can begin on a fractional basis if you prefer (up to 20 hours/week)
• Transition to full-time offers base salary of up to $250k + wider benefits
• Full ownership of technical direction
• Remote-first (UAE, Europe, or US East Coast preferred time zones)

Requirements
  • 5+ years in blockchain infrastructure
  • At least one protocol, DeFi system or exchange shipped to mainnet
  • AMMs, liquidity mechanics
  • Tokenomics
  • On-chain settlement models
  • Production-level Solidity experience with clean audit history
  • L2s, rollups, or app-chains
  • Node operations, RPC infra, indexers/subgraphs
  • Security awareness: reentrancy, flash loans, oracle manipulation, monitoring
