Fractional Chief Technology Officer

We are building a curated 10x technology leadership capability to support multiple fast-scaling European technology organizations entering their next phase of technical maturity.

These companies have product traction and engineering teams in place. What they require is not a hands-on developer. They need senior technology architects who can design scalable technical foundations, align product and engineering strategy, and build systems that support sustained growth.

This is not a single vacancy.
This is a selective addition to a high-level technology leadership bench supporting multiple environments.

As part of the 10x Team, you may be deployed to design and execute scalable technology architectures across high-growth environments.

Your focus is execution.

You will architect repeatable technology engines that include:

• Scalable system architecture aligned with long-term product strategy
• Engineering organization design and leadership structures
• Technology roadmap development aligned with business objectives
• DevOps and infrastructure maturity frameworks
• Security and compliance integration into architecture decisions
• Technical debt assessment and remediation planning
• Build versus buy decision frameworks
• Data architecture and platform scalability strategy
• Engineering performance metrics and delivery governance
• Vendor and tooling selection strategy
• Board-level technical reporting and investment planning

The objective is to transform fragmented technical foundations into institutional-grade technology platforms that scale predictably across markets, customers, and funding stages.

Senior-level technology leaders with:

• 10+ years experience in technology leadership roles
• Proven experience scaling engineering organizations in growth environments
• Strong architectural depth across cloud, infrastructure, and product systems
• Experience operating at executive and board level
• Ability to translate business strategy into technical execution
• An execution mindset

Languages: Dutch and English required

• Contract-based
• 8–12 hours per week indicative
• Combination of strategic sessions and remote execution
• Potential deployment across multiple client environments
