Role Overview

The Global Chief Technology Officer (CTO) will serve as the strategic and operational head of HRS’s global technology, software development, and service delivery organizations.
This role will provide visionary leadership for HRS’s technology direction, driving cloud transformation, software innovation, and delivery excellence across all regions. The CTO will ensure that HRS continues to deliver world-class implementation, integration, and managed services for Oracle Hospitality solutions while expanding its proprietary software capabilities.
The ideal candidate is an accomplished technology executive with a proven track record in Oracle Hospitality, global IT service delivery, and enterprise software development, ideally within the hospitality industry.


Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Leadership
  • Define and execute HRS’s global technology strategy, aligning it with business objectives and the Oracle ecosystem.
  • Drive innovation and transformation across service delivery, product development, and software platforms.
  • Build and maintain strong executive relationships with Oracle leadership, key clients, and strategic partners.
  • Represent HRS in global partnerships, industry events, and leadership forums with major hotel groups.
2. Software Development & Product Innovation
  • Lead the global software development organization, overseeing architecture, engineering, QA, and product delivery.
  • Define the roadmap for HRS proprietary software solutions, integration tools, and automation platforms supporting Oracle Hospitality systems.
  • Ensure agile development processes, scalability, and high performance across all internally developed products.
  • Champion innovation, exploring new technologies such as AI, data analytics, and automation to strengthen HRS’s competitive position.
  • Collaborate closely with the CEO, COO, and regional leaders to transform HRS’s intellectual property into commercial products and value-added services.
3. Service Delivery & Operations
  • Lead the Global Service Delivery Organization, ensuring consistent, high-quality execution across all regions.
  • Oversee implementation, migration, and support projects, ensuring excellence and efficiency.
  • Establish and enforce delivery standards, KPIs, and global governance for consistent service performance.
  • Drive automation and process improvement across all operational areas to optimize cost and customer satisfaction.
4. Technology Infrastructure & Cloud
  • Oversee architecture and infrastructure strategy supporting Oracle Cloud, OPERA Cloud, and Simphony Cloud environments.
  • Ensure security, reliability, scalability, and data integrity across all technology platforms.
  • Lead continuous modernization of internal systems, tools, and cloud environments.
5. People & Leadership
  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing, globally distributed technology team.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and excellence.
  • Partner with HR and regional management to attract, develop, and retain top engineering and delivery talent.


Qualifications

Essential:
  • 10+ years of senior IT leadership experience in hospitality technology, hotel group IT, or enterprise cloud software delivery.
  • Proven background managing software development teams and end-to-end product lifecycles.
  • Deep understanding of Oracle Hospitality solutions (OPERA, Simphony, OXI, OEDS, etc.) or similar enterprise PMS/POS platforms.
  • Experience leading large, global IT operations or service delivery organizations.
  • Strong technical and business acumen with a proven ability to drive transformation.
  • Excellent communication and executive relationship management skills.
Preferred:
  • Experience with international hotel groups (e.g., Marriott, Accor, IHG, Hilton) or hospitality technology vendors.
  • Familiarity with cloud-native development, APIs, data analytics, and integration frameworks.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; MBA preferred.
