About the role

HII Uncrewed Systems is seeking an Enterprise Technical Lead for its R300 program. The role leads cross-functional engineering work across design, development, test, delivery and product support for unmanned systems.

Responsibilities

Lead the technical baseline, planning and product-development approach while maintaining quality, reliability, budget and schedule alignment.
Resolve cross-discipline technical issues and act as the technical point of contact for internal and external customers.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to program personnel; support reviews and technical, cost and schedule reporting.
Lead engineering work across manufacturing, post-delivery design updates, new capabilities and production upgrades.
Support risk management, test planning, documentation and continuous improvement of CMMI development processes.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of relevant progressive experience, Master’s degree with 6 years, or high school diploma/equivalent with 12 years.
Engineering leadership experience and ability to obtain and maintain a government-issued Secret clearance.
Preferred: multidisciplinary systems, marine systems or robotics, project leadership, risk management and defense-contracting experience.

Details

Full-time, salaried and exempt role in Pocasset, Massachusetts. Expected salary range: $158,326–$180,000 per year. Travel of up to 10% may be required.
